In Celebration of Earth Hour

I found out about Earth Hour a few years ago from a neighbor. This falls on the evening of March 31  – so, it’s tonight! From what I understand, those who are interested are asked to switch off their lights for an hour. The office high rise in which I work observes it, and from what I understand, several other prominent buildings in downtown Pittsburgh participate as well.

In celebration of Earth Hour (as well as in celebration of spring and Mother Nature), I am posting here some photos that I took today. Jonathan and I had a (chilly) picnic at Ohiopyle State Park, in Fayette County, PA.

Thanks, Mom! After my trips to some other places (ahem, New York State), I really appreciate all of the PA State Parks that we visit.
